Privacy Policy

Overview

PEPTD ("we", "us") operates a community-powered educational knowledge platform. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By creating an account you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account data — email address, username, display name, and authentication identifiers from Apple, Google, or email sign-in.
• Profile data — bio, avatar image, location, interests, and links you choose to add.
• Content you create — stacks, experience reports, discussions, comments, saved entries, and journey check-ins.
• Usage data — pages viewed, searches run, and interactions, used to improve the product.
• Device and security data — browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, error logs, and identifiers used to protect accounts and diagnose failures.
• Private tracking data — information you enter in Build, including schedules, inventory, progress logs, bloodwork, and body-composition photos. These records are private by default.
• Payment data — handled by our payment processor. We store only a subscription status and customer reference, never card numbers.

How we use information

To operate your account, display the content you publish, personalize discovery, send service and transactional email, prevent abuse, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information.

Authentication and local storage

PEPTD uses essential browser storage and authentication cookies to keep you signed in, protect your account, remember privacy and interface preferences, and restore the page you intended to visit after sign-in. Apple and Google process sign-in under their own privacy policies. PEPTD receives the account identifiers and profile details you authorize; it never receives your Apple or Google password.

Health-related content

Content you publish — including experience reports and journey entries — may describe personal wellness information. Anything you mark as public is visible to anyone on the internet. Use the visibility controls in Settings, or the anonymous mode on your profile, if you prefer to keep entries private.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run PEPTD: hosting and database infrastructure, payment processing, and email delivery. We may disclose information where required by law.

Public content and sharing

Public profiles, discussions, comments, public experience reports, and public stack concepts can be viewed and shared by anyone. Private Build drafts, tracking records, bloodwork, and progress photos are not made public unless you deliberately select content and complete a sharing action. Review the audience shown before you publish or share anything.

Sign in with Apple & Hide My Email

When you use Sign in with Apple, Apple sends us only your name (if you choose to share it) and an email address. If you select Hide My Email, that address is Apple's private relay — we never receive or store your real email. Our messages are forwarded to you by Apple, and you can stop that forwarding at any time in your Apple ID settings. We never receive your Apple ID password, and we do not receive any other Apple account data.

Support requests

When you contact us through the support form we store your name, email address, the category and content of your message, and your account reference if you were signed in. We use it only to answer you and to improve the product, and we send it to our email delivery provider so the reply can reach you. Please don't include sensitive health details — our support team can't provide medical guidance.

Account deletion

Deleting your account from Settings → Account is immediate and permanent. It removes your login, profile, settings, stacks, experience reports, journeys, saves, follows, and any uploaded files. Deletion also cancels your access to paid features at the end of any period already paid for. We keep only records we are legally required to retain, such as payment and tax records held by our payment processor.

Your choices

• Edit or delete your content at any time.
• Control notification and privacy preferences in Settings.
• Delete your account from Settings → Account. Deletion removes your profile, stacks, reports, and personal data.
• Request a copy of your data by contacting support.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may exercise these rights through account controls or by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

International processing

PEPTD and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers and limit providers to the information needed to perform their services.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit and stored with row-level access controls so users can only read their own private records. We retain account data while your account is active and remove it after deletion, except where retention is legally required.

Children

PEPTD is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as PEPTD changes or legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice in the product or by email when a change materially affects your rights.
